BioEven now I am still discovering exactly who I am... I actively repressed my artistic side throughout my youth in the pursuit of a "good" career, but it has fought its way back to the surface now that I find such a career to be tedious and petty rather than engaging and beneficial, as I had been led to believe.
The truth of the matter is that I have identified with lizards and reptiles since my earliest years. I have loved "furry" artwork, particularly of the furless variety, ever since before I knew anything about a community around it. Unfortunately said years of repression have prevented me from developing any degree of talent, but I've been trying to make up for lost time over the past year or so.
I am currently living in Boulder, CO, working on finishing up a degree that I may never use. The friends I have are far away, with the internet having been my sole form of communication with the outside world.(and the occasional family phone call) My thoughts, when not distracted by schoolwork, usually turn to art these days, as I can only ever seem to find comfort in it, both the act of drawing itself and looking at others'.
